Doloris V. Repaal, 86, of Colfax, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Colfax Health and Rehab, under the care of Mayo Clinic Home Health and Hospice. She was born on April 30, 1928, in Chimney Rock, WI, the second child of Milo and Helma (Oium) Klopp. She graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1947. On March 21, 1948, Doloris married Gerald Repaal, and they were married for 67 years. Together they farmed for over 40 years, even though tractors and Doloris did not get along. Doloris also worked at Noer’s Drug Store and the Clothesline clothing store in Colfax. They enjoyed going to dances and watching their children and grandchildren play sports. Doloris enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, bowling, golfing, cooking, and ceramics. She was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church. Doloris is survived by her husband, Gerald of Colfax; two sons, Dennis (Jean) of Menomonie and Kyle (Kendra) of Colfax; five grandchildren, Chad (Amy) Fansler and Cody (Kelly) Fansler of Amery, Denielle (Zack) Peters, Bayleigh Repaal and Collin Repaal of Colfax; brother, Don (Margaret) Klopp of Racine; sister, Muriel (Russ) Pritchett of Illinois; sister-in-law, Gladys Klopp of Menomonie; and son-in-law, Craig Fansler of Amery. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Colleen Fansler; parents, Milo and Helma Klopp; sister, Marjorie (Klopp) Gilbert; and brother, Larry Klopp. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Sampson Funeral Home, 1017 E. Railroad Ave., Colfax, with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Pastor Craig Conklin will officiate. Burial will be at Hill Grove Cemetery in Colfax.
