Louis Nacke Obituary

Louis “Louie” Joseph Nacke, 81, died on Monday, May 8, 2017, at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Louie was born on May 18, 1935, in Effingham, IL, a son to Louis and Beaulah (Mc Whorter) Nacke. He served four years in the US Navy (Sea Bees) and was honorably discharged in 1959. He farmed for three years in Harvard, IL, and worked as a carpenter before retiring in 1997. Louie was a hard worker, as well as a kind and gentle man and will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by daughters, Ruth of Colfax, WI, and Mary of Menomonie, WI; sons, Robert of Colfax, and Tony of Menomonie, WI; brothers, Richard of Oklahoma, Larry (Karen) of Wisconsin, and Gerald (Virginia) of Wisconsin; and sisters, Shirley (Marv) Bigelow of Wisconsin, Diana (James) Bamper of Arizona, and Rosemary (Marlin) Rott of Iowa Louie is preceded in death by his wife, Norma; his parents; two sons in infancy; and one brother, Donald. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
