Braden Lemler Obituary

Braden Gerald Lemler, age 16, of Sand Creek received his angel wings on May 11, 2018. Braden was born on March 30, 2002 in Eau Claire, WI. He was a sophomore at Colfax High School. Braden was a member of the Barron County Country Siders 4-H Club and the Colfax FFA. He was also part of the Colfax High School Football Team and in the past years, Braden was a member of the Colfax Ice Fishing and Trap team. When not in school, Braden could be found doing chores at Grazin’ Acres Dairy in Hillsdale and Hill Creek Farms in Colfax. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to Johnny Cash on “Moose Country”, and morning coffee with the local “coffee guys” at the Sand Creek Cenex. Braden’s proudest accomplishment was restoring his Farmall H tractor with his Grandpa Jerry’s assistance. Braden’s hard work was recognized when he was awarded the opportunity to display his tractor at the Wisconsin State Fair. Braden has always been known for contagious smile, gentle demeanor, hard work ethic, and wise old soul. Braden is survived by his parents, Kaylee and Ryan; sister Hannah; grandparents, Jerry and Melanie Donath, Rodger and Rita Lemler, Gerry and Bonnie Winch, Don and Carol Lammers; biological father Eric Winch; and half-brother, Parker Lammers. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Shari (Bill) Briggs, April (Tyler) Holten; Randy (Shannon) Lemler; Ron (Erin) Lemler; Amy Foat; and Brent (Kheng) Winch; several cousins and friends. Braden was preceded in death by his great-aunt, Janie Boos; close friends, Owen Knutson, Dan and David Briel; and his great-grandparents.
