Dale Schneider Obituary

Dale A. Schneider, 53, of Colfax, died on Sunday, November 3, 2013, as the result of an accident. Dale was born on November 4, 1959, to Joseph and Nancee (Niesen) Schneider. He grew up in Tilden and graduated from Chi Hi in Chippewa Falls in 1978. Over the years he was employed with Custer Farms, Brown Wilbert Vault Company, County Materials, and at the time of his death with Precision Pipeline in Eau Claire. He was currently working on a spread in Jackson Michigan where he was the truck foreman. He loved to say he worked from one end of the country to the other, Nevada to New York. On April 28, 2001, Dale married Lynn Sampson and for the past year she travelled with him, what an adventure. Dale was a man who would help anyone. He had many friends from all over the country, friends made while pipelining. He loved the travel, and the adventures of new places. His favorite place was Finlayson Resort in Atikokan, Ontario, Canada, where he and Lynn had a cabin. He was always in a hurry to fish, to hunt, to travel, always on the go. He had a love of stock car racing, wherever he went he found a local dirt track. He even lived his dream of racing a dirt track car for three years. Whether it was racing, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, camping, riding motorcycle, or sitting around a campfire he lived his life to the fullest. He will be forever missed by his family. Dale is survived by his loving wife, Lynn of Colfax; two precious daughters, Dana and Kari Schneider, both of Bloomer, and their mother Joyce; two step-sons, Jack and Tom Sampson, both of Colfax; mother, Nancee Mancl of Bloomer; father, Joseph (Margaret) Schneider of Bloomer; two brothers, Darrell (Terri) and Tony (Linda) Schneider, both of Chippewa Falls; three sisters, Rhonda (Bruce) Eddington of Eau Claire, Renee (Roger) Rothbauer of Bloomer and Laurie (Duane) Humbert of Chippewa Falls; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his step-dad, George Mancl; and grandparents. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013, at Sampson Funeral Home, 1017 Railroad Ave. in Colfax. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Colfax Lutheran Church, 601 River St. in Colfax, with Pastor Leslie Walck officiating. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday.
