Jennifer Berge

Jennifer Berge, age 38, of Eau Claire, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Jennifer was born February 27, 1981, in Eau Claire, to Bruce Schindler and Sharon Berge. She graduated from Colfax High School with the Class of 1999. Jennifer started working at the age of 16 at Colfax Nursing Home and continued working at a group home in Eau Claire. She was a member of North Running Valley Lutheran Church. Jennifer enjoyed spending time with her family and most of all, her children. She loved working with her residents and taking care of people. She also enjoyed listening to music and cooking. She is survived by her parents, Sharon Berge and Bruce Schindler, both of Colfax; grandmother, Audrey Schindler of Colfax; children, Brendlee and Mckenna McDew, both of Eau Claire; sisters, Paige (Derek) Lanham of Bloomington, IL, and Lindsey (Jen) Schindler of Madison, WI; niece and nephews, Devyn, Declan and Bryce Schindler. Jennifer is preceded in death by grandparents, Alvin and Arlene Berge and Louis Schindler; sister, Brooke Schindler; uncles, Norman, Dale, Delbert and Ralph Schindler. A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm on Monday, February 17, 2020, at North Running Valley Lutheran Church, 14714 County Hwy A, Colfax, WI, with Vicar Chuck Schingledecker officiating. Visitation will be from 4–7pm on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at North Running Valley Lutheran Church and again one hour prior to the service on Monday.
