Armond "Bubs" Gullickson, 79, of Colfax, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, with his family by his side at Marshfield Care Center in Eau Claire. Bubs was born on March 11, 1939, in New Auburn, to Andrew and Clara (Satter) Gullickson. In 1957, Bubs enlisted in the US Navy and honorably served his county for four years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, coin collecting and tinkering with small engines. Bubs is survived by one brother, Malcom Gullickson of Elk Mound; five sisters, Nancy Fouts of MI, Lonnie (Dick) Archambault of MN, Susan Allen of Chippewa Falls, Roxanne (Stanley) Sward of Colfax, and Julianna (Mike) Brindle of Elk Mound; numerous nieces; nephews; extended family; especially, Suzanne Vinning and Betty Lynn Nelson, their families; and all of his very dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John; and three sisters, Marcella, Marion and Louise. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Sampson Funeral Home in Colfax. Visitation will begin at 11 am, on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Colfax. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Russell Toycen Post 131.
