Beverly Joan (Steinmetz) Geissler, 88, of Colfax passed away Monday, December 18, 2023 at Mayo Health System - Eau Claire. Beverly was one of eleven children born to Michael and Alvina (Urban) Steinmetz. The family grew up on the family farm in the Town of Howard. Beverly married the love of her life Myron Geissler in Cooks Valley. Beverly was well known for making dumplings at Albertville Tavern. She could do anything she set her mind to. She enjoyed baking, cooking and was a well-known seamstress. She is survived by children, Dan (Kim) and Dale Geissler; grandchildren, Melissa (Diane), Jason (Amanda), Stacey (Jeff) and Michael; several great-grandchildren; beloved siblings, Shirley (Gene) Vesnefsky, Marge Geissler and Deone Buchli; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Myron; daughter, Diane Short and siblings, Mabel Tuschl, Herbert Steinmetz, Wilbur Steinmetz, Leona Tallman, Duane Steinmetz, Elaine Steinmetz and Joseph Steinmetz. A funeral service will be held at 11:30am Friday, December 29, 2023 at Sampson Funeral Home, 1017 Railroad Ave, Colfax, WI, with Dan Rider officiating.
