Brooke M. Schindler, 30, of Colfax, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016. Brooke was born on June 3, 1986, to Bruce and Laura (Esken) Schindler. She attended Colfax Schools and graduated with the Class of 2005. On October 18, 2013, Brooke gave birth to a precious son, Bryce Wayne Schindler, whom she loved and adored. Family was her main focus in life. She also enjoyed drawing, reading and caring for the sick and elderly. Brooke is survived by her son, Bryce; parents, Bruce and Laura Schindler; sisters, Sgt. Lindsey (Jennifer) Schindler and their son, Declan, and Jennifer Berge; maternal grandparents, Albert and Sheri Esken; paternal grandmother, Audrey Schindler; aunts, uncles and cousins, Amy (Ray) Towells and their daughter Morgan, Shari (Jim) Perko and their daughter Shannon Schaefer, Carol (Dale's wife) Schindler, Norman (Judi) Schindler and their sons Jeff and Cory, Arlen (Cheri) Schindler and their children Jennifer, Travis and Stephanie; first cousins, Tanya Dobcinski, Holley Boone and Nathan Schindler (Delbert and Mary Schindler's children); and also other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her uncles, Dale Schindler and Delbert (Mary) Schindler; paternal grandfather, Louis Schindler; maternal great grandparents, Albert and Anna Esken; and paternal great grandparents, Joseph and Theresa Schindler. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., on Friday, September 9, 2016, at Sampson Funeral Home, 1017 E. Railroad Ave. in Colfax. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Cedarbrook Church, N6714 470th St., in Menomonie, with Pastor Sten Carlson officiating. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Colfax.
