Candice C. Trandum, age 76, passed away July 9, 2026 at Monroe Manor in Barron, WI. She was born September 26, 1949 in Menomonie to Elsmore and Nellie Trandum. She graduated from Boyceville High School in 1968.

She married Charles Bethke in 1969 and had 2 children, Krista and Keith. She later divorced. She worked at Fabri-tek in Amery and Holy Family Hospital in New Richmond. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She was an Elvis Presley fan, liked to dance to 50s and 60s music, and enjoyed watching her favorite team, the Green Bay Packers.

Candice is survived by her daughter, Krista (Edward) Peterson; her son, Keith Bethke; her sister, Marjorie Randall (Dale Hoage and Melissa Holcomb) and sister-in-law, Linda Trandum (Lisa Magill and Tracy Howlett). She has one grandchild, Alexandra Peterson.

Candice is preceded in death by her parents, Elsmore and Nellie Trandum and her brother, Robert Trandum.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, July 17 at Faith Lutheran Church of Running Valley, 14827 County Rd A in Colfax, WI, with Pastor Jim Haga officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Burial and luncheon will follow the service.
