Carol R. Lapriore, 76, of Wheeler, passed after a lengthy illness on Saturday, January 5, 2013, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 13, 1936, in Worcester, Massachusetts to Lawrence and Mary (Gasek) Davies. Carol continued to live in Massachusetts for 70 years until 2006, when she moved to Wheeler, Wisconsin to be near her family. For many years, Carol worked as a hostess at Tatnuck Country Club. She loved gardening and traveling. Carol is survived by her daughter, Roberta (Dwight) Guidaboni of Wheeler, WI; five grandchildren, Joseph Guidaboni of Greenfield, MA, Angela (Jesse) Rushlow of Jacksonville, FL, Nina Guidaboni of Wheeler, WI, Andrea (Matthew) DeMoe of Wheeler, WI, and Christina Guidaboni of Eau Claire, WI; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Robert L. Lapriore, who died in 2000; and her brother, Robert Davies, who died in 1993. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Otter Creek Cemetery, Dunn County, WI.
