Clarice J. Larson, 98, of Colfax, WI, died Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Colfax Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Colfax on April 6, 1920, a daughter of Gustav and Olga (Johnson) Christianson. Clarice was a life-long member of North Running Valley Lutheran Church, being baptized there in May of 1920, confirmed in June of 1934, and married to Robert Larson on March 24, 1945. Clarice graduated from Colfax High School with the Class of 1938. After high school, she worked as Dr. Felland's "first office girl" until her marriage to Robert. Her son-in-law insists that Clarice was the best mother-in-law that a person could have and will be sadly missed by her family and all those who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff at Colfax Health and Rehab. and St. Croix Hospice for their excellent care. Clarice is survived by her children, David (Arlis) Larson of Colfax, Dianne (David) Buchner of Colfax, Marilyn (Lou McManus) Larson of Rice Lake, Jim (Debbie) Larson of Colfax, and Gary (Katy) Larson of Colfax; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Arlene Berge. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at North Running Valley Lutheran Church in the Township of Cooks Valley, with Pastor Matt Saarem officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the church and again one hour prior to the service Monday. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
