Daniel Marvin Hagberg passed away at home December 6, 2023 on his 75th birthday. Dan was born in Prairie Farm, WI on December 6, 1948 to Hjalmer and Mildred (O'Flanagan) Hagberg. Due to being born so premature, he was baptized the day he was born. Dan was confirmed at Holden Lutheran Church. Dan attended elementary school at the Valley Glen country school and graduated from Colfax High School in 1967. Dan married Joan Tuschl on June 21, 1969 at Cook's Valley Catholic Church. After high school Dan worked for Presto in Eau Claire and served in the US Army stationed in Korea. Bauman Construction served as Dan's employer from 1975 until his retirement in January 2011. Dan enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, gardening, camping, and NASCAR. He is survived by his wife Joan of 54 years: brothers Curt and Tim (Linda)Hagberg, Joe (Mary) Hagberg, and sister Peggy (Ron) Krueger: sister-in-law Sharon Hagberg; sisters-in-law Elaine Knutson, Doris Tuschl, and Joyce Sundstrom; brother-in-law Joe (Connie) Tuschl and Tom (Pam) Tuschl; many nieces and nephews and other extended family. Preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law Jack and Marge Hagberg, sister-in-law Bonnie Hagberg, and brother David Hagberg.
