Dennis J. Samens , 58, of Tilden, died Thursday, August 6, 2026, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. Dennis was born April 15, 1968, in Bloomer, Town of Tilden. He was the son of Edward and Jolan Samens. Dennis was a graduate of 1986 McDonell High School.

He was a lifelong resident of the Tilden area, where he farmed all of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, art, drawing, flowers, Packers, Brewers, animals, and nature. He could fix just about anything. 

He is survived by his: brother, Donald Samens (Wanda Wilson); sister, Margaret Meyer; sister-in-law, Linda Crandell; niece, Monica; nephews, Terry Samens (Kathy), Andy Samens, Randy Samens (Amber), Greg Samens and Ian Meyer of Minnesota.

Dennis is preceded in death: by his father, Edward Samens; mother, Jolan Sames; grandparents; brothers, Steven Samens of Chippewa Falls, Joseph (Barb) and Richard Samens; nephew, Tony Samens and niece, Andrea Meyer.

Dennis will dearly be missed by family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, August 21, 2026, at St. Peters Cemetery in Tilden with Deacon Dan Rider officiating.
