Edith Sieger, 87, passed away on July 2, 2013, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Menomonie, WI. Edith was born on November 18, 1925, in Otter Creek Township, WI, to Gaylord and Grace (Bird) Snyder. On January 13, 1946, she married Emmett Sieger in the Otter Creek Baptist Church. To this union 6 children were born: Dennis, Gary, Stephen, Linda, Rodney, and Alan. She is survived by her 5 children, Dennis (Marty) of Deer Creek, IL, Stephen of Peoria, IL, Linda (Mark) of Crato, Brazil, Rodney of Secor, IL, and Alan of Owatonna, MN; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Albert (Louise) Snyder of Menomonie, WI, and Paul (Kathleen) Snyder of Menomonie, WI; 5 sisters, Catherine McIntyre of Wheeler, WI, Ivy Montgomery of Wheeler, WI, Hazel (Kenneth) Palmer of Fond Du Lac, WI, and Faith (Orville) Larson of Colfax, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband Emmett in 2008; son, Gary in 1953; sister, Judith in 1932, brother, Floyd in 2010, and 2 brothers-in-law, Sam McIntyre and Algie Montgomery. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Grace Baptist Church in Boyceville, WI. Burial will be at Otter Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
