Gerald Wayne
Styczinski
May 3, 1957 — Jun 22, 2026
Gerry Styczinski, 69, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2026.
He married the love of his life, Jeanne, in 1981. Together, they raised their four children on their hobby farm in Colfax, WI. He was the proud owner/operator of Styczinski Trucking for over 34 years.
Gerry was an avid outdoorsman, but not always the most successful fisherman (not for lack of effort - he could never quite find the spot where the fish were biting). A novice beekeeper and sugarmaker, Gerry had a curious mind, always looking to learn a new hobby, especially if it was outdoors. Like his father, he had a passion for the environment and a conservationist mindset.
Gerry was rarely seen without his faithful dog, George, and horses - although they may have just been looking for treats hidden in his pockets. He had the calmness and patience to win over any creature, great or small.
Most of all, his love for his family and grandchildren was the center of everything he did. He was very proud of his children's achievements and always bragged about them to anyone who would listen.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne, and their four children: Anthony (Brittany) Styczinski, Andrea (Andrew) Serrian, Kayla (Steven) Price and Elizabeth Styczinski (Calan Slattery). He will be deeply missed by his four grandchildren: Millie, Ren, Lochlan, and Charlie. Gerry's memory will live on through his family, whose lives have been enriched by his unwavering love and support.
A celebration of Gerry's life will be held at the Brunet State Park Beach Pavilion on August 2 at noon. Seating at the pavilion is limited; we kindly ask that guests who would like a seat, bring a lawn chair. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Colfax Red Cedar Preserve, a place that held special meaning to Gerry.
