Kenneth Robert Rothbauer, age 84, passed away on 11-15-22, peacefully at home.  Ken was born on 6-20-38 in the township of Tainter, Dunn Co to John and Catherine (Krejci) Rothbauer.  He married Susan Krall on 9-8-62.  Together they built a home, and raised a family while farming in the township of Otter Creek.  Ken served as clerk then chairman of the Otter Creek Township for 25 years.  He also served on the Colfax Cenex board.  Ken enjoyed; hunting, bowling, making venison sausage, and maple syrup.  He also loved to support his children and grandchildren in their many sports activities.  In his later years, he enjoyed his garden which was weedless-once a farmer always a farmer.

Ken is survived by; his wife, Susan, daughter, Jan Rothbauer (Tammy Woelfel) of Valders, WI, daughter, Carol (Dave) Lieffort, son, Michael (Lauri) Rothbauer, daughter, Tina (Chris) Johnson, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by; his parents, his two sisters, Lorraine (Raymond) Spaeth, and Marion Rothbauer, and a brother, Charold Rothbauer.

A memorial service will be held for Kenneth on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at Sampson Funeral Home in Colfax with Father Mano officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left for Kenneth's family at www.sampsonfuneralhome.com.
