LeRoy M. Anderson, 82, of Hudson, WI, and formerly of Colfax, WI, died Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Red Cedar Canyon Assisted Living in Hudson, WI, under the care of St. Croix Hospice. He was born on May 14, 1936 in Eau Claire, WI, a son of Melvin and Gladys (Haugli) Anderson. LeRoy graduated from Colfax High School in 1954 and farmed on the family farm. LeRoy married Sylvia Leonard of Ellsworth, WI on October 21, 1989 at Colfax Lutheran Church. LeRoy was a lifetime member of Colfax Lutheran Church. He enjoyed wintering in Mesa, AZ, camping with Sawdust City Good Sam Club, and spending time with neighbors and family. LeRoy is survived by his wife, Sylvia; step-daughters, Geri Struve (Brian Wilson) of River Falls, WI and Roxi Olson (Kevin Wallace) of Hudson, WI; grandchildren, Tony (Jenny) Blodgett, Trista (Phil) Custer and Benjamin Struve (Amanda Leach); great-grandchildren, Braeden, Gavin and Kelton Blodgett; sister, Carol (Harold "Buzz") Bursaw; step-sister, Maxine Rapp; step-sister-in-law, Eileen Halverson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; mother; step-father, Edler Halverson; step-brother, Marlo Halverson; and step-brother-in-laws, Paul Rapp & Dean Wiseman. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Colfax Lutheran Church, 601 River St. in Colfax, with Pastor Leslie Walck officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held in Evergreen Cemetery in Colfax.
