Marshall E. Hanson, age 87 of Elk Mound, died peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2015, at Colfax Health and Rehab. He was born on June 18, 1927, to Martin and Matilda (Benson) Hanson. He enjoyed old car shows, helping other farmers and of course, maintaining his own dairy farm. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Raymond. Funeral Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Barum Lutheran Church, Rural Elk Mound, with a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Hal Schroetter will be officiating. Interment will be in Barum Cemetery.
