Myrna Clenora Price, 95, of Elk Mound, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Orchard Hills Assisted Living in Eau Claire, WI, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Myrna was born in Lanesboro, MN on October 27, 1922, to Albert and Gunda (Hasleiet) Berge. Myrna's family moved to Colfax, WI, in 1927 and she graduated from Colfax High School in 1941. On August 4, 1945, she married Manville Edward Price. Together the couple had four children. After their marriage they farmed in rural Elk Mound until 1980. When they retired from farming, they continued to be proprietors of Kwik Wash / Korner Kurl. They moved to the Village of Elk Mound where they were active in the community and known as "Grandpa and Grandma Price" to many neighborhood children throughout the years. Her favorite retirement past-time was spending time at Axehandle Lake with Manny and her family. Myrna was an active member of Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church, was proud of her Norwegian heritage, enjoyed homemaking and loved flowers. She spent many hours in the gardens that she and Manny created. She also cherished the fellowship she shared with her bowling league teams and neighborhood birthday club friends. Myrna was a gracious and caring woman who has left a lasting impression in the lives of those who knew her. She is survived by sons, Ken (Donna) Price and Keith (Julie) Price; daughter, Kathy (David) Kopp; and daughter-in-law, Joyce Price. She was a proud and loving grandma to 11 grandchildren, Anthony (Vikki) Price, Brad Price, Jim (Lori) Price, John Price, Trevor Linberg, Mark Price, Brenda (Scott) Johnson and Steven (Tracy) Kopp, David Price, Troy Mahler, and Shane Mahler; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. Also surviving are brother-in-law, Orville (Freida) Price; sisters-in-law, Arlene Hones, Charlotta Anderson, Darlene Stackhouse, JoAnn Price and Helen Berge; and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 67 years, Manny; son, Greg Price; brothers, Alvin Berge and Gerald Berge; brothers-in-law, Milfred Price, Willard Price, Elmer Price, Arthur Price, Arnold Price Jr., Marcus Hilson and Roger Hones; and sisters-in-law, Arlene (Zwiefelhofer) Berge, Adeline Hilson, Naomi Price, Elaine Price, and Arlene Berge. The family would like to thank the staff at Orchard Hills Assisted Living for the years of friendship and support they showed Myrna and the family. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church, 207 University St., Elk Mound, with Pastor Mary Eidi officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 and again one hour prior the service at the church. Burial will be in Waneka Cemetery, Town of Spring Brook.
