Peter A. Christenson, 63, Town of Elk Mound, died Friday, February 23, 2024 at home surrounded by family and under the care of St. Croix Hospice and dear friend Kari Naser Caregiver. Peter was born January 24, 1961 in Eau Claire, WI to Gordon P. and Helen J. (Kjentvent) Christenson. Peter grew up in Eau Claire, he married Vicki Siddons on June 26, 1993. Together they raised four children. Peter attended Eau Claire, North Highschool and went on to be in the Laborer's Local Union No. 268 until retiring January, 2016. Peter enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He loved his two dogs, Buttercup and Coco Bear. Peter is survived by his wife of 30 years, Vicki; children, Jeremy (Jenny) Leirmo of Green Bay, WI, Leah (Shawn) Scheffler of Elk Mound, WI, Russell (Jen) Christenson of New Auburn, WI; sister, Mary Crosby of Chippewa Falls, WI; 9 Grandchildren; 1 Great Granddaughter Vicki's dad, Bernie Blodgett and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Mindy Christenson; brother-in-law, Fred Crosby; father-in-law, Jack Siddons and mother-in-law, Ginger Blodgett. Saturday, March 23, 2024, a family and friends gathering will be held from 2pm - 5pm at the Grapevine Senior Nutrition Center, 121 Main Street, Colfax, WI Then a celebration of life will follow at the Outhouse Bar in Colfax, WI, 413 Main Street, Colfax, WI.
