Rosalie M. Persons, 93, of Colfax, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at the Colfax Health and Rehab. She was born on April 5, 1919 in Wells, MN to Frank and Mabel (Demars) Graeber. On June 22, 1937 Rosalie married Ivan Persons, and together they raised five children on a dairy farm in the Popple Creek area. Rosalie enjoyed bowling, gardening, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by 3 children, Gerry (Darrell) Hoyland, Tom (Polly) Persons, and Jan Persons; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 14 great great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Gwen Persons; son-in-law, Gary Fischer; and also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan; son, David; daughter, Patty; and sister, Lorraine (Harold) Benson. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
