Scott Allen Gunnufson, 48, of Colfax and Ojibwa, Wisconsin, passed peacefully among family on Monday, June 16th, 2025. He was born on August 18th, 1976, to Lyle Gunnufson and Joyce Sundstrom in Menomonie, Wisconsin.

Scott graduated from Colfax High School in 1995, where he went on to attend The University of Minnesota, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Business Management, and a master's degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management at The University of Wisconsin-Stout.

He was employed at Andersen Windows for 24 years, from 2001 to 2025. While mastering his own business, S.G. Home Designs for 25 years, he obtained his realtor's license in 2018 and was a very successful agent with Northwest Wisconsin Realty Team. Scott was also very involved in his community in Colfax and contributed by serving as Village President for several terms. He loved and was very proud to be a part of such a wonderful area. Scott was also an avid and accomplished pool player and truly enjoyed the game and his pool family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Andrea; devoted son, Trin; mother Joyce, father, Lyle; best friend and brother, Rick Gunnufson; niece, Tori (Paul) Hallgren; brother-in-law, John Helsing; mother-in-law, Patti Helsing and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by stepfather, Bruce Sundstrom; sisters, Kelli and Brenda Gunnufson; maternal grandparents, Loretta and Herman Tuschl; paternal grandparents, Aurthur and Ragna Gunnufson.

The family wishes to thank Mayo hospice for their kindness and care for their beloved Scott.

Celebration of life for Scott will be held on Friday, June 27th at the Viking Bowl and Catering from 4:00-8:00pm in Colfax WI
