Theresa Lynn Michels of Colfax, WI passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born on November 1, 1953 to Daryl and Marion (Roth) Owen. Theresa attended school at Boyceville High School, and later went on to work in the Healthcare Industry. She married the love of her life Arnie Michels and spent many happy years with him. She loved being outdoors bird watching and spending time with her puppies Susie and Molly. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family and friends sitting by a fire. Theresa is survived by her 2 sons, Gary (Becky) Smith and Tony (Lorie) Smith. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren: Seth, Mariah, and Alana Smith, Angela, Josh and Anthony Smith; and her brother, Charlie (Carol) Owen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnie Michels and her parents, Daryl and Marion Owen. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery in Colfax and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
