Vicki J. Kinnard, 58, of Colfax, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family after a 3 year battle with cancer. She was born on November 5, 1957 to Dean and Helen (Kundson) Renz in Eau Claire, WI. She attended Colfax Schools and graduated with the class of 1976. She continued her education at Chippewa Valley Technical College. During her career, she worked at Bremer Bank, 3M, and Mayo Clinic Health System. Vicki was united in marriage to Joseph Kinnard on September 17, 1994. Throughout their years together they shared many laughs, loved their dogs and deeply cared for each other endlessly. Vicki enjoyed time spent with her dogs, family and friends, which included long drives in her red convertible, Harley rides with Joe, cook outs, and playing practical jokes on all of us. She loved gardening in her flower beds, listening to Kid Rock music, and above all else, loved and adored her boys, Ryan & Trevor. Vicki is survived by her two sons, Ryan (Christina Guidaboni) Larson and Trevor (Lacey Logslett) Larson; parents, Dean and Helen Renz; a sister, Debra (Steve) Johnson, their children, Lindsay Johnson, Nick (Jodi) Johnson, and Tessa (Ryan) Gibson; mother-in-law, Estelle Kinnard; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kinnard; father-in-law, Francis Kinnard; and her grandparents. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Holden Lutheran Church in Colfax, with Pastor Bob Schoenknecht officiating. Visitation will be from Noon until the time of services on Sunday at the church. Burial will be held at a later date in Holden Cemetery.
