Bonnie Reitz Obituary

Bonnie Reitz, 92, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015, in Plano, Texas, following a brief hospitalization while visiting with family. Bonnie was born November 24, 1922, to John and Eva Graham, at the family farm near Stanley, North Dakota. She grew up there and graduated from Stanley High School. She attended the Lutheran Bible Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she met Harold Reitz. They married May 22, 1947, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Harold was a pastor, served parishes in Chicago, Illinois, Ridgeland/Hay River, Wisconsin, Rothsay, Minnesota, Lake Mills, Iowa, and Lime Springs, Iowa, and several interim pastorships following retirement. His last years were lived in Colfax Health and Rehab in Colfax, Wisconsin and Bonnie made her home in Colfax as well. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 2011; her brother, Herbert Graham; and sister, June Wright. She is survived by her children, John (Diane) Reitz of Atlanta, Georgia, and Margaret (Kerry) Bade of Plano, Texas; and by her grandchildren, Kirsten Bade and Kevin Bade, both of Plano, Texas; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015, at Hay River Lutheran Church, N1250 WI Highway 25, Wheeler, WI, with Pastor Curt Rohland officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Hay River Lutheran Church Cemetery. Sampson Funeral Home, Colfax, WI, is serving her family.
