Cory Lee Knutson, age 62, passed away December 28th, 2023 at his home in Colfax WI.

Cory was born in Rice Lake, WI in 1961 to Don and Virginia Knutson (Flatland). The family lived in Dallas, WI before moving to the farm in Otter Creek, WI in 1972 where Cory went to one year of Grade School at Plainview Country School. Cory then attended Colfax Grade School and High School where he graduated in 1979.

Cory spent most of his working career with Sanna Dairies where he was a champion butter maker. Cory later went on to work at Phillips Plastics and Chippewa Valley Warehouse before officially retiring in 2023.

Cory married Nancy Noer in 1984, they were married 12 years and had two sons together. Cory and Nancy later divorced in 1996. There is nothing Cory enjoyed more in this world than spending time with his wife, "#1 and #2 sons" Jared and Lonnie, his brothers Dan, Don and Brad, cousin Jamie, and his parents Don and Virginia. Cory really enjoyed his friends he met over the years and was always willing to help when anyone asked. He had a heart of gold.

Cory was preceded in death by Brad Knutson (brother), Clarence and Inga Knutson (grandparents) and Wilbur and Luella Flatland (grandparents) and is survived by parents Don and Virginia Knutson(Flatland), brothers Don(Jean) Knutson, Dan Knutson, and sons Jared and Lonnie Knutson.

Visitation will take place on January 12th, 2023, 11AM-2PM at Sampson Funeral Home in Colfax, WI. All are welcome. Burial will follow this spring.
