Kay Louise (Longdo) Knutson

Kay Louise Knutson, 75, of Colfax, Wisconsin died on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at the Colfax Health and Rehab Center, Colfax, Wisconsin.

Kay was born on May 31, 1947 in Colfax, Wisconsin to the late Henry and Lillian (Klukas) Longdo. Kay married LeRoy Knutson in 1968 and began their family in rural Colfax. Kay spent the majority of her working days caring for others. Kay had a passion for birds and taking care of plants at the Colfax Health and Rehab Center.

Kay is survived by her three sons, Kevan Knutson, Kim (Mandy) Knutson, Kyle (Tami) Knutson; grandchildren, Olivia (Garrett) Larson, Madeline Knutson, Miranda Knutson, Lukas Knutson, Jake Knutson, Tyler (Katie) Knutson and Tiernee (Andrew) Adix; great grandson, Carter Knutson; sister, Marilyn "Judy" Hubbard; sister, Carol Heidtke; brother, Robert (Nancy) Longdo and sister-in-laws, Evelyn Longdo and Pat Longdo as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lillian Longdo; brothers, Merle Longdo, DeWayne Longdo, and Darrell Longdo; brother-in-laws, Richard Heidtke and Irwin Hubbard; nephews, Rodney Longdo and Jon Longdo and niece, Rhonda Heidtke.

A visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Sampson Funeral Home, 1017 E. Railroad Ave., Colfax, WI. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Sampson Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in the Popple Creek American Cemetery.
