Phillip Pederson, age 87, of Colfax, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on December 12th, 2025, at the Beehive in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He was born on June 7th, 1938, to Martin and Gladys (Hays) Pederson in Fall Creek, Wisconsin.

Phillip spent his early years in Fall Creek, where he met his soulmate, Bonnie Polinski. The two married shortly after high school, and soon after, Phillip enlisted in the United States Army. He served with honor, stationed in Georgia before relocating to Minnesota, where he developed a lifelong love for the Minnesota Vikings.

After completing his service, Phillip and Bonnie returned to Wisconsin, where they settled in Colfax to raise their four children. Throughout his life, Phillip remained deeply devoted to his family. A hardworking man, he spent his days supporting his loved ones and finding joy in simple pleasures like fishing, hunting, and caring for his garden. His commitment to his family and his love for the outdoors were core to who he was.

Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Gladys (Hays) Pederson; his wife, Bonnie (Polinski) Pederson; his daughter, Janet Bunai; his son, Terry Pederson; and his brother, Lowell Pederson.

He is survived by his son, Jeff (Connie) Pederson; his daughter, Kim Creaser; his brothers, Robert and Russell; his sisters, Shirley and Bonnie; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a new great-great-grandson.

Phillip's legacy will live on through his family, friends, and all who knew him as a devoted father, loyal friend, and lover of the outdoors. His quiet strength, love for his family, and passion for the simple joys in life will be missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of Phillips life will be held on Wednesday, January 7th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a short service at 3:00 PM, at Sampson Funeral Home in Colfax, WI.
