Stanley L Scott

Stanley L Scott passed away on March 27, 2022 in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. He was born April 17, 1935 to Melvin and Bertina (Lee) Scott in Eau Claire, WI. He went to Colfax Schools and graduated from Colfax High School in 1953. He attended Minneapolis School of Business and was hired by International Harvester Co. in the accounting department. He worked in Minneapolis, Kansas City and Chicago, retiring in 1991 from International Harvester Co., which later became Navistar Inc.

Stanley was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and followed the Chicago Cubs, the hometown baseball team. Having lived in Chicago for 45 years, he had a passionate interest in Chicago history and attractions. He enjoyed the Museum of Science and Industry and was a member of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he had tickets to attend various exhibitions.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by both Scott and Lee cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Colfax Lutheran Church on April 9, 2022 at 2:00pm with Pastor Jordan Herrick officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Colfax. Memorials can be directed to the Colfax Lutheran Church.
